Managing Director/Animation Director
I set up the company in early 2008 and as well as running the business I am the Animation Director.
2005 - 2008 : Lime Ltd, London.
Head of 3D
I was head of a 3-5 man XSI team working on a variety of broadcast and commercial projects. I was responsible for the organisation of the team on a project, working with producers on quoting jobs, attending pre-production meetings and client meetings as well as working on projects as a 3D operator. I was also responsible for the upkeep of the smedge render farm. I also helped to train up juniors to be part of the team.
As an operator I was a generalist covering all aspects of XSI including Animation, modelling, Lighting, Texturing, Rigging, Effects and Scripting. I also taught myself Realflow which I then used to create the liquid in the Gaviscon commercials
2000 - 2005 : The Hive Ltd, London.
Animation Director
This was the same role as at Lime, but the team was between 5-8 and using Lightwave. During my time at The Hive I was also the Animation Director for a childrens TV series called 'Busy Buses' for which we created 39x5min episodes over a 2 year period.
1998 - 2000 : AmgFx, London.
Character Animator
During my time here I worked mainly as a character animator using Lightwave on various projects.
Hobbies & Interests:
Although not as fit as I used to be, I enjoy sport and recently ran the London Marathon. I also play the guitar and I'm an avid poker player.
